Ray's Crabcake Factory opened in April 2014 with two goals; to serve the best Crabcakes in the Mid-South and to bring our authentic recipes to Hendersonville in a relaxing and laid back style. Thanks for visiting our site and please take some time to scroll through to learn more about us.

We make Authentic Maryland and Eastern Shore style food...

Hopefully you feel as if you’re at the beach from the minute you walk in the door. Having been born and raised at the beach on the Eastern Shore of Maryland crabbing and fresh seafood are a way of life. Generations of "Watermen" have made their living harvesting the jewels of the Chesapeake Bay. This is where the best Crabcakes in the world are made and where we developed our recipe.  This baseball sized gem is known as Ray's Ultimate Crabcake. We prepare our seafood in the traditional Eastern Shore style to give you the taste of the Shore right here in Hendersonville.

Experience for yourself our menu of traditional seafood prepared in a style that is all our own. Whether you’re in the mood for classic favorites such as mouth watering
Crabcakes or our one of a kind seafood or traditional entrees, we have you covered.

Many of you know David Williams who has been a part of the Factory family for almost 2 years now. He is and has been an important part of what we do and we have reached an agreement for him to become a partner. David has been a friend for many years. He is a true family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and children, especially coaching his girls basketball team. David is active in his Church and a full-time member of Law Enforcement.

We are thrilled to announce that longtime patrons and supporters, Michael and Dawne Gray have joined us to add some new & exciting elements to the Crabcake Factory.

Born and raised in Maryland they moved to Tennessee 15 years ago for career opportunities. Michael is a percussionist with country music artist Lee Brice. Dawne has had success in Pageantry and is a Former Tennessee and Kentucky state title holder.

Dawne & Michael not only have a great love for each other but share a love of Maryland Seafood. Dawne was raised in the heart of Baltimore MD with family in the Seafood Restaurant and Crab industry. Michael was raised in Frederick MD and spent a lot of time entertaining on the Eastern Shore.

Michael has a multi-faceted career in the Music Industry and Dawne in the Accounting and IT field. With their entertainment, business and restaurant experience we are excited to have them as part of the Factory family.

They also have very strong ethical and family values that serve the community well. They are very involved in many non-profit agencies as a way to give back for the all the blessing they have received.

Their hearts may by in Tennessee but their souls are still authentically Maryland. Please come by for some true Maryland Seafood and join us in welcoming Mike and Dawne.

A Few Things About Ray’s Crabcake Factory...

All of our menu items are made with the freshest ingredients available to us, from the greens in our salads to the seafood on our plates. Some of our items are seasonal and their availability depends on Mother Nature, my schedule, favorable winds, the Dow Jones Index, and the price of tea in China among other things. If something is not available, we apologize.

We are a small owner operated restaurant - that means if one of the owners can’t be here for any reason - we don’t operate. Many years in the business have taught us it’s better to provide great food, service and a welcoming atmosphere for limited hours than to be greedy and mediocre.

Some of you may have visited during times when we were scheduled to be open but were not. For this we sincerely apologize and please be assured we are working to remedy this and understand you have many options. We appreciate your business and respect your time. We do try to update our Facebook page daily but for those who don’t use social media we apologize.

Although we don't have a kids menu or hi-chairs, everyone is welcome to dine-in as long as they're ordering from our menu. Because our seating and space is so limited we simply can't afford to have seats taken without food sales. The Health Dept. will not allow outside food to be brought in. Thanks for your support and we appreciate your business.
